Writer: Leah SamyLeah Samy

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is with a profoundly heavy heart that I, Archbishop Dr. Evangelou The International

President of The Ixthus Church Council, write to share in your grief and sorrow upon hearing the sombre news of the Call to Glory of our esteemed brother in Christ, Archbishop Dr. JP Hackman. As Scripture reminds us, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). This loss has deeply touched all of us who were blessed by his selfless dedication and unwavering love for the Lord’s work.

Archbishop Dr. JP Hackman was a beacon of light and a true servant of the Kingdom, whose legacy of faith and service will forever resonate within our hearts and the halls of Beneficial Veracious Christ Church. "The memory of the righteous is a blessing" (Proverbs 10:7), and his commitment to God’s mission and his exemplary life have left an indelible mark on the lives of many.

As we gather our thoughts and prayers, let us unite in offering our deepest condolences to his beloved wife, Mrs. Bishop Sodnaia Hackman, his family, the leaders, and the entire congregation of Beneficial Veracious Christ Church. "Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn" (Romans 12:15). We stand in solidarity with you during this time of mourning, praying that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, will envelop you with His peace and strength. "The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).

May we find solace in the promise of eternal life and the hope of the resurrection, knowing that our beloved Archbishop Dr. JP Hackman now rests in the perfect peace of our Lord’s embrace. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7). May his soul, the soul of a true General of the Kingdom, rest in everlasting peace.

In His service and with deepest condolences,

+Archbishop Dr. Evangelou MBE
